The company has officially announced the much awaited Canon EOS R3 full frame mirrorless camera.  This is the company's latest mirrorless camera coming to India that comes with professional features.  Ideal for professional photographers looking for a small, lightweight, but sophisticated camera without a mirror.  This is great for high speed shooters who are more interested in sports, wildlife and news photography.  The device also features the new iControl AF feature with the latest 24.1MP back illuminated CMOS sensor, and is capable of recording 6K 60p RAW or 4K 120p 10 bit video.  Read on to know the price and details of Canon EOS R3 India.

Canon EOS R3 Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Launched in India at Rs 4,99,995  The price is for the body only and the company has not yet announced a specific timeline for when the professional camera will be available in the country.  But the Canon camera is expected to be available by the end of November this year.

The Canon EOS R3 Full Frame Camera has a 24.1MP rear illuminated stacked CMOS sensor.  It is powered by DIGIC X image processor.  The device can be used for fast shooting.  The camera is also equipped with a 3.2 inch vertical angle LCD touch screen which offers a resolution of about 4.15 million dots.  It comes with a refresh rate of 120fps and has an intelligent controller that allows the user to quickly move the AF position and double it like the AF-ON button.

According to the company, the EOS R3's electronic shutter and mechanical shutter can reach 30 fps and 12 fps with AF / AE tracking, respectively.  It can also achieve shutter speeds of up to 1 / 64,000 seconds with the electronic shutter, allowing the capture of extremely sharp objects or the use of large aperture lenses in bright environments.  The mirrorless camera integrates with dual card slots for a CFexpress (Type B) card with extremely fast read / write speeds and an SD (UHS-II) card, allowing for faster and more efficient image data.  Confident recording is allowed.  The local ISO range of the EOS R3 is 100 to 102400 which can be increased to 204.800 when used for still photography.  When recording videos, the range is from 100 to 25600 and can be increased to 102400.

The camera also offers 10-bit HEIF file formats and provides JPEG images like HDR-PQ with better ratings that can be converted from camera HEIF files.  HDR mode allows a single high dynamic range HEIF file to shoot handheld HDR automatically up to 0.02 seconds from 3 HEIFs.  Inbody IS image stabilization is up to 5.5 stops and also for still images.

The Canon EOS R3 camera without full frame mirrors is capable of recording 6K 60p RAW or 4K 120p 10-bit movies at full frame angles.  High quality 4K 60p (increased sampling from 6K).  The camera without this mirror also includes Canon Log 3 and HDR PQ to provide flexibility to meet various post production workflows.  It also has an iControl AF function, which allows users to select a focus point using only eye movements.  This feature comes with the ability to focus on the eye, whether the face is partially covered or masked.  Head detection AF has also been improved.  Even when athletes wear helmets or goggles, it is possible to get constant attention in high-speed sports photography.

The car's preferred feature for motorsport photographers has been added.  Auto focus tuning can now detect cars and motorcycles with great accuracy.  It can also detect a driver's helmet when spot detection is enabled.  It can also focus in a very dark mode that is almost black to the human eye.

In terms of connectivity, the EOS R3 includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS as standard modes, and dual-band Wi-Fi, which supports FTP and FTPS with WPA3 for added security.  For PhotoJournalist, a wired LAN connection provides faster transfer of files to remote FTP, FTPS or SFTP servers.  This is achieved without the need for any additional accessories.
