Immediately after the Poco F4 GT, Xiaomi is preparing to launch more gaming phones in the global market. The Black Shark 5 series was officially launched in China two months ago, and is now set to hit global markets on June 8.
The Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro will be launched in Malaysia before reaching other markets. Black Shark Malaysia has confirmed the news and the launch event will be broadcast live on Tik Tak and official social media accounts on Facebook.
It is expected that the specifications of the global version will be similar to the Chinese version. The Black Shark 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870, while the Pro model will be proud of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC. Both phones will feature 144Hz 1080p AMOLED panels, support for HDR10 +, 1-bit color, and more.
The Black Shark 5 will have a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra wide camera, and a 5 MP telephoto lens, but the Black Shark 5 Pro will have a 108 MP main sensor, and a 13 MP primary sensor. But the same 5MP telephoto lens.
The battery features will be the same on both the phones including 120W fast charging support and 4650mAh power cell.
Prices for global models will vary slightly, but we can expect to see a range of $ 400- $ 600 for both models, respectively.
