Eid-ul-Adha 2023 on Thursday 29 June in Pakistan

In an official announcement made earlier today, the Central Crescent Sighting Committee confirmed the sighting of the crescent for the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah.  Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid al-Adha, will be celebrated in Pakistan on Thursday, June 29.

A committee meeting chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad took place in Karachi after sunset for the sighting of the crescent of Dhul-Hijjah.

Eid al-Adha is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world.  It commemorates Prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.  Finally, God replaces the son with a sheep, symbolizing the importance of faith and submission.

The festival is marked by communal prayer, the sacrifice of cattle, and the distribution of meat to the less fortunate.  Muslims gather in mosques and open spaces to perform Eid prayers, followed by feasts and gatherings with friends and family.

The religious and cultural significance of Eid al-Adha is of great importance to Muslims, as it promotes feelings of unity, mercy, and generosity.  As the country prepares for this auspicious occasion, Muslims are eagerly looking forward to celebrating Eid al-Adha with their loved ones, while remembering the importance of sharing blessings with those in need.
