Infinix Hot 12 Play with 6,000mAh battery announced in India

Transsion Group has announced the launch of its new Infinix Hot 12 Play smartphone in the Indian market.  The new budget smartphone has a dual rear camera setup and a big 6000mAh battery.  The device is powered by Unisoc T610 processor and has a perforated display.

The 4GB + 64GB single storage variant of the Infinix Hot 12 Play in India is priced at Rs 8,499 (the current price is an introductory offer).  The smartphone's color options are Champagne Gold, Daylight Green, Horizon Blue and Racing Black.  The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart from May 30th.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play has a 6.82-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels.  The device comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.  It has a peak brightness of 480 nits and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.66%.  The smartphone runs Android 11 on top with XOS 10. The phone is powered by Octa Core UniSoc T610 SoC and 4GB of RAM.  Using the additional built-in storage, the RAM can be expanded up to 3 GB.  The phone has 64 GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 256 GB via a microSD card.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play has a dual rear camera setup with a quad-LED flash for optics.  The camera setup includes a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a depth sensor.  An 8MP front-facing selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash is available for selfies and video chats.

The budget smartphone has a 6000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.  Hot 12 Play has 4G LTE, WCDMA, GSM, Wi-Fi 02.11 a/b/g/n connectivity options, Bluetooth v5 and GPS/A-GPS.  It includes an ambient light sensor, G-sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, and on-board proximity sensor.  The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor.
