Letv launches entry-level Y1 Pro in China with Unisoc T310 and 4GB of RAM

The last time we covered LeEco on GSMArena was early last year when the company came back with some TWS wireless earbuds.  Now, after some years of financial difficulties, the company has not released a smartphone called LeEco or the Letv brands.  This will be replaced with the Letv Y1 Pro.  This device is not impressive in any way, but it could identify a new contender in the smartphone industry.

The Letv Y1 Pro looks exactly like the iPhone 13, in terms of design, with a very low price.  Starting at CNY499 ($ $ 75), the Y1 Pro is powered by the low-end Unisoc T310.  It has 1 ARM Cortex-A75 core at 2GHz and 3x ARM Cortex-A55 core at 1.8GHz and SoC only supports 4G networks.  It is paired with 4GB RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, and a dedicated microSD card slot.

It has a 6.54 inch LCD screen with HD + resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels.  The device weighs approximately 208 grams and measures 164.3 x 77.7 x 9.5 mm.  There is no in-display fingerprint scanner, but Face Unlock is supported by Android 11.  It has a 5MP front camera and on the main dual camera, it has an 8MP sensor with a secondary AI lens - probably a depth sensor.  The 4000 mAh battery is recharged via USB-C.

The Y1 Pro comes in Star White, Midnight Black, and Star Blue models.  While the entry level 4GB + 32GB model starts at CNY 499 (US $ 75), the 4GB + 128GB version runs from CNY 699 and the 4GB + 256GB version starts from CNY 899.  That's $ 108 and $ 135, respectively.  The Y1 Pro is only available in the Chinese market, but we will keep an eye on whether the brand starts shipping to other markets.
