Oppo is Launching a Major Smartphone on May 23

The Reno series is one of Oppo's most popular smartphone collections.  It is one of the company's best-selling phones and is available almost worldwide.

The Chinese brand is now preparing to launch its next entry in the Oppo Reno series in China.  The Reno 8 family will officially leave on May 23, 2022.  Rumor has it that it will have a new Qualcomm chipset, possibly the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, which will be launched in China this weekend.  Some models will also have MediaTek chipset.

The Oppo Reno 8 lineup is expected to include Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 SE.  Thanks to previous leaks, we already know the features of these phones.

Specifications

The Reno 8 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.  It will support MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max SoC with 80,500 fast charging with 4,500mAh battery.  It will be available in green, gray and black color options.

The Vanilla Renault 8 will have a 6.62-inch E4 OLED panel with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz.  It will have a 4,500mAh battery with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, 80W fast charging.

Finally, the Reno 8 SE will have a small 6.43-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution.  The chipset will be MediaTek's Dimension 1300 and will have a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

All three phones will have a triple camera setup on the back and a 32MP selfie camera.  Phones will be running on Android 12 with Color OS.
