Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Launched Again with Better Hardware

Samsung has quietly released the latest version of its older tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2020).  The 2022 model updates the Android version and brings a new chip set to the table with more CPU and GPU power.  The price is almost equal to the actual price.

The new Slate 10 comes with Android 12 instead, with promising updates for a few years.  The 8nm Snapdragon 720G processor replaces the 10nm Exynos 9611 with the same memory configuration (4GB / 64GB and 6GB / 128GB).

Other specifications have not been changed, including a 10.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 and support for the S Pen.  This is TFT panel instead of IPS, which means the viewing angles and colors are slightly worse.

The back has only an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording 1080p video and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.  Battery capacity is 7040 mAh, with 15W fast charging support.  The speakers are built with AKG Dolby Atmos support and have a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a microSD card slot.

The price is a little different than before.  The base model starts at 4GB / 64GB at a starting price of € 400, which is € 20 more than the original model two years ago.  There is no LTE version or 128GB variant on retail sites, but this may be because stores keep updating their inventory online.
