Vivo T2x is official with Dimensity 1300, Y33e tags along

A new phone arrives today which is the Vivo T2x which was widely leaked last week.  Just as Scroll expected, the new machine has a Dynamite 1300 chipset and a larger battery.

Vivo also introduced the Y33e, which is very similar to the Y33s 5G but with half the RAM and slow charging.

The T2x is the first Vivo phone with a new Mediatek chipset with a 3.0GHz CPU and Mali-G77 GPU.  The 6.58-inch LCD screen has Full HD + resolution, and Vivo has decided to keep it traditional with the front camera - a waterdrop notch for an 8-megapixel shooter.

There are only two rear cameras - a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera.

The screen supports 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.  Both of these features are better than the vivo T1x, which only bumped up to 120Hz.  Another update is the 20% larger battery - now the capacity is 6000mAh while maintaining a 44W fast charging rate.

The Vivo T2x is priced at CNY 1,599 ($240) for the 8/128GB memory option or CNY 1,799 ($270) for the 8/256GB storage.  Available in black and blue colors, the phone is already ready for pre-order, with shipments beginning on June 6.

The Vivo Y33e is technically a new phone as it has some minor changes compared to the Vivo Y33s.  They share a Dimensity 700 chipset and a 13MP + 2MP main camera setup, but the new phone only comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.  It is also limited to 10W charging of the 5,000mAh battery.  This helped bring the price down to CNY 1,299 (US$130).
