He said that some people considered it a technical glitch and spread rumors that Shahbaz Sharif's government had abolished unnecessary taxes on expensive mobile phones and directed the PTA to block these devices.  she is.

The implementation of Mobile Verification, Record and Restriction System (DIRBS) in 2019 significantly increased the legal imports of mobile devices, resulting in the establishment of more than 33 domestic mobile device manufacturers in the country.

These factories have manufactured more than 50 million mobile devices since the system was implemented, including 4G smartphones.  With the successful implementation of DIRBS, the domestic industry has reached a good stage with its best performance from the very beginning, which has led to significant growth in the domestic smartphone industry.
