Health department crackdown on medical stores

The Ministry of Health cracked down on medical stores selling substandard and overpriced drugs.

According to the report, drug inspectors in the drug court offered cash to the owners of more than two dozen medical warehouses.  The court issued challan warnings against the owners and issued assignments to the owners on different dates.

The Punjab Health Department launched a campaign against the sale of medicines to the medical store owners in an expensive court and a case was registered against more than twenty medical stores.  Road including Base Medical.
