Instagram is the answer to tiktok and youtube shorts. It allows you to watch short image videos of up to 60 seconds in length and hover over them at will.
This 60-second time limit is fast approaching as the social network announced an increase in the release from 60 seconds to 90 seconds. Instagram says the extension will allow content creators to express themselves in a more reliable way.
Creators will now have extra time to share more about themselves, create behind-the-scenes segments, dig deeper into their content type, or use it.
The new update will also allow content creators to add their own audio to their releases. It can be used to add captions or background noise from any video of at least 5 seconds to your camera roll.
Instagram says:
Make sure you like how they record your voice as others can use it on their sound reels.
In addition, it will allow you to add polls to your audience about what should be in the next video so that content creators can give their viewers exactly what they want.
