The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) has been issued by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) for admission in MBBS and BDS programs in 2022.
The MDCAT will be conducted in phases, as was the case last year. The first phase of MDCAT will run from 15 August 2022 to 30 August 2022. The second phase will begin on September 5, 2022 and end on September 20, 2022.
Applicants who fail the test due to a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 during these two stages will be eligible for the special MDCAT on September 30, 2022.
In the coming days, PMC will release MDCAT 2022 syllabus, after which each applicant will be assigned a test date. The date of MDCAT 2022 results has not been announced by PMC yet.
The MDCAT exam was held from August 30 to September 30, 2021 last year. The test was computer-based, and more than 200,000 people registered for it.
Students, on the other hand, wanted to retake the test, claiming that the PMC had provided poor testing machines with insufficient internet, which contained extra-curricular and vague questions, and some students were disqualified by scheduling exams within a month. Benefited fairly.
