Due to rising prices of petroleum products, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, along with his ministers and officials, ordered a 40 per cent reduction in his petrol quota.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while instructing the provincial ministers, officials and their respective patrols said that the prices of petroleum products have gone up but the burden of increase in petrol prices should not fall on the exchequer now. This means increasing the burden on the people. Reducing the share of petrol by 40% will not be a burden on the exchequer.
It may be recalled that the government had increased petrol and diesel prices by Rs 200.
