Strong public reaction to increase in prices of petroleum products

The storm of inflation got out of control, the people reacted strongly to the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

Yesterday, Finance Minister Muftah Ismail had announced an increase of Rs 30 per liter in petrol and diesel prices.  Kerosene has been reduced to Rs 181.94 per liter.

In Islamabad also there was a quarrel between the people and the employees at the petrol station while the beneficiaries in many areas closed the pumps before 12 o'clock at night due to non-availability of cheap petrol at the last minute.
