The moon of Dhi Al-Hajj 1443 AH appeared in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
According to Arab media, on the direction of the Supreme Court, the government committee and the citizens searched for the crescent of Zul Hajj 1443 AH. The government committee also included experts.
Later, the Saudi Supreme Court, after confirming and verifying the evidence, announced that the Eid-ul-Adha moon would appear. Arafat is celebrated on Friday, July 8, and Eid al-Adha is celebrated on Saturday, July 9, 2023.
The Saudi government has declared a public holiday in the country's public and private institutions from 8 Dhul-Hijjah on the occasion of the Hajj season.
