The government has announced to provide up to 300 units of free electricity to the people

The Government of Indian Punjab has announced to provide free electricity to the people up to 300 units.

According to Indian media reports, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that his government was fulfilling its promise to the people of the state and now up to 300 units of free electricity would be provided to the people.

He said that previous governments kept making promises but five years of their rule have passed but they have not fulfilled their promises.

He said that Admi Public Party has fulfilled its election promise to the people today and now the people of Punjab will get huge discounts in electricity bills.

The Prime Minister said that he would significantly reduce government expenditure and increase net taxes.
