Good news for Punjab government employees, Punjab Cabinet approved special allowance on March 1.
According to details, the Punjab government gave another big good news to the government employees before the big Eid. Employees will receive their July salaries in August, while the arrears will be paid from March.
The Punjab Chief Minister, while approving the summary of increase in salaries of Punjab government employees, decided not to give 15% special allowance to the employees in the initial phase of 2017 basic pay, as the employees had asked the Chief Minister to increase this allowance. It should be on basic pay, not on stage.
In addition, the Punjab Cabinet has been asked to consider and approve a special announcement regarding the basic pay scale for employees who are not availing any other service or special allowance. Punjab government employees will get special allowance from March 1, 2022 which will include April, May, June and July salaries.
