As revealed by WABetaInfo, the latest beta version of WhatsApp allows you to hide your online status from everyone. This is perfect for people who stick to WhatsApp and want to avoid disturbing family members or friends who get annoyed when they see you around.
As shown in the screenshot, the new feature will give you two options to choose from. You can either make your online status visible to everyone so that you behave the way you did last time. This means that you can either show your online activity to everyone, except for your contacts, few except for your contacts, or nothing at all.
WABetaInfo says that although the screenshot is from iOS, WhatsApp is also working on making this feature available for Android desktop and WhatsApp. This feature is still in development, so it is unclear when it will be available to the public.
