Xiaomi is about to introduce the Mid Ranger in its high-end phones of the 12 series. Recently the Chinese brand revealed the 12S series, but now we are about to get the rumored Xiaomi 12 Lite for the global market.
The confirmation came from Xiaomi's official social media account on Twitter, which said "Xiaomi 12 Lite is coming".
Xiaomi has not revealed any official details, but the phone has been the victim of many leaks in the past, which revealed the details of the phone as well as the hands-on photos.
Specifications
According to Lex, we know that the Xiaomi 12 Lite will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. It will have a density of 402 pixels per inch, HDR10+, and support for Dolby Vision.
It will be powered by Snapdragon 778 GB chipset with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
The main camera should have a 108MP sensor with OIS with an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie camera will be a 16MP camera capable of recording 1080p video.
Some European retailers have already listed the 8GB/128GB variant for €500, but it's too early to say if it's authentic. There is no official launch date yet, but since the teaser campaign started, we will get more information from Xiaomi soon.
