You Can Travel Between Murree and Islamabad for Rs. 100 During Eid Holidays

A recent Gallup Pakistan survey has revealed that Murray is a favorite destination for tourists this summer.  More than 23% of Pakistanis plan to visit Mori and tourists are expected to visit the hill station during Eid.

In this regard, the Punjab government has decided to run a special bus service for tourists intending to visit Moreh on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

Talking to media, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Tahir Farooq said that 15 buses would be run between Bara Kahu and Moreh in Islamabad during the three days of Eid.

Buses will depart from the recently constructed Green Line bus stand.  Passengers will be charged Rs.  100 for one way ticket.

DC Rawalpindi further said that families would be given tickets on priority basis.  Families will also enjoy a free shuttle service to Mori.

He said the county government's move would help reduce traffic in Murray as thousands of vehicles enter the popular hill station each festival.
