No Holiday on Hajj Day as Govt Announces 2 Holidays for Eid-ul-Azha

The federal government has officially declared the Eid al-Adha holiday.

According to the official notification, those who work 5 days a week will have two days off on June 29th and 30th (Thursday and Friday) due to the Eid holiday.

Eid al-Adha 2023 in Pakistan will be on Thursday 29th of June.

Those working 6 days a week will have 3 days off from 29th June to 1st July (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

Today, Monday, the Central Vision Committee for the Crescent of the Crescent confirmed the sighting of the crescent for the Hijri month of Dhil al-Hajj.  Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid al-Adha, will be celebrated in Pakistan on Thursday, June 29.

A meeting of the Zil Haj moon sighting committee after sunset was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
