Honor 70 Pro+ to Feature Flagship Hardware and High End Sony Camera

Honor is set to launch new smartphones by the end of this month. The new series will include Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro +, all of which will debut next week on May 30.

A few days before the release, the company has officially unveiled some specifications for the upcoming phones, including chipset and camera details.

As the teaser says, it will showcase the flagship Honor 70 Pro + Dimensity 9000 SoC from MediaTek. In addition, all Honor 70 phones will come with a large 54MP Sony IMX800 1 / 1.49 inch camera sensor with f / 1.9 aperture.

Honor also shared some camera samples. The watermark in the picture says "54MP matrix camera".

The other two phones, Honor 70 and 70 Pro, will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Dimensity 8000 respectively. Thanks to LTPO technology, all phones will have BOE OLED displays with dynamic refresh rates. High frequency PWM will also dim.

Honor has also confirmed 66W fast charging support for Honor 70, while Pro models will go up to 100W. There is no official word yet on battery capacity, but we can expect to see 4000-5000 mAh power cells.

The Honor 70 series will be officially unveiled on May 30 in China. Global availability is not yet clear, but since previous generations have reached the international market, we can expect the same from the Honor 70.
