According to rumors, Xiaomi 12 Ultra was going to be the first Xiaomi phone to carry the Leica brand as a result of the recent partnership of the Chinese brand.

But that is not the end of the story, as another Leica-branded Xiaomi phone has been spotted in the jungle. The phone in question is the Xiaomi 12S, which was recently spotted in the IMEI database and now we have a working image of the back of the phone.

In terms of design, the Xiaomi 12S looks no different than the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro. However, the back panel has a glossy metallic shape instead of a matte finish. The main camera design hasn't changed, but the Leica branding is clearly visible under the LED flash.

According to speculation, the Xiaomi 12S will be launched with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which gives it a slight edge over the vanilla Xiaomi 12. We can also expect to see other minor upgrades on the Xiaomi 12, but they won't stay that way. Be as strong as Xiaomi 12 Pro.
