In Punjab province where load shedding is on the rise, the gas crisis has now intensified.

Gas supply to textile mills in Punjab has been stopped.  Textile mills in Punjab have been shut down due to power outages and gas outages.

According to sources, gas shortage was caused due to incorrect inclusion of LNG in the system.  Due to non-berthing of LNG ship Karachi, there was a shortage of gas in the system.

The spokesman said that the supply of gas to the textile factories using Kapto power station has been cut off and the shortage of gas will end after the sinking of the LNG ship.
