Government's decision to provide great facilities to students

The government decided to give a monthly stipend of Rs. 1000.

This monthly stipend will be given to sixth and eighth grade students from all over the Punjab including Lahore.  The proposal of the Punjab government to provide scholarships to students in the new financial year has been included in the budget of the Department of School Education.

20,000 students from Lahore will benefit from this scholarship.  According to the officials, a budget of 6.5 billion rupees will be allocated in the next fiscal year budget.  On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Punjab also expressed his frustration with the non-disbursement of scholarship funds for female students in the previous government.
