Teachers will need to submit nine inquiries and nine pension certificates in order to receive promotions.
The government has imposed new conditions on the promotion of teachers. Teachers must provide No Inquiry and No Punishment Certificate for promotion. No inquiry will request a letter of punishment for each teacher.
Promotions will be stopped if teachers are questioned or fined. In Punjab, the director of public education sought documents from 550 teachers for promotion in the 18th grade. Teachers have been directed to submit certificates to the concerned education authorities by June 10. Teachers who do not submit documents will be listed in the drop down list.
