Health department warns of dengue fever outbreak

According to details, private and government schools have been directed to take steps to prevent dengue fever during the holidays.  Health teams will visit public and private schools.  Mosquito repellent should be sprayed in classrooms and halls to control dengue fever in schools.  Rainwater should not be allowed to stand on playgrounds and surfaces.  Be restles.

The school education department has directed that water should not be collected in water tanks and water coolers and garbage should be disposed of in schools continuously.  Strict action will be taken against schools which do not follow the standard operating procedure.
