LOS ANGELES - A U.S. military plane carrying five soldiers crashed in southern California on Wednesday, a military spokesman said.
Four people are believed to have been killed, while a fifth is still missing.

The military has denied reports that the plane was carrying radioactive material when it crashed near Glimus, 20 miles (35 kilometers) from the Mexican border.
