What more difficult decisions are going to be made next month?

Negotiations are underway between Pakistan and the IMF and more difficult decisions are likely to be taken by the government from July 1.

Petrol can be subject to 5% sales tax and Rs 10 tax.  Electricity is also likely to become more expensive.  From July 1, further stimulus deductions and tax credits will be considered.

According to economists, Pakistan will have to build an economic system.  Two LNG power plants could be privatized by December.  The future of steel mills needs to be clarified.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had expressed hope that Pakistan would soon get 2 2 billion from the International Monetary Fund.
