WhatsApp may soon allow users to edit sent messages

After announcing some key features under development such as Group Polls and WhatsApp Premium, WhatsApp is now working on the ability to edit text messages for future updates for WhatsApp beta testers.

A screenshot shared by the website shows that the messaging system is developing a new option that allows users to correct any misspellings after sending a message.

The report states that there may be no edit history for checking past versions of edited messages, but since this feature is in development, their plans may change before the feature launches.

Additionally, details about the time window allowing people to edit their messages are currently unknown.

WhatsApp is bringing features in WhatsApp beta for iOS, Android and desktop platforms.

Recently, a report states that it has banned more than 16.6 thousand bad accounts in India in April in compliance with the new IT rules of 2021.

The platform banned more than 1.8 million such accounts in the country in March.  It also received 844 complaints reports within the country in April, and the number of these accounts was 123.
