Galaxy Z Flip4 vs. Find N2 Flip: Our long-term Flip review

Galaxy Z Flip4 vs. Find N2 Flip: Our long-term Flip review

Introduction

The world's best-selling foldable smartphone form factor is the flip style.  Oppo joined the global fray this year with the international launch of the Find N2 Flip - a device that aims to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, the world's best-selling foldable line.  I have the latest iteration.  If you have any doubts, just take a look at it — the Find N2 Flip is so similar to its Samsung-made counterpart that even its purple channels are nearly identical.

With all of this in mind, we decided to review these two long-term reviews, but not two separate long-term reviews—they're so similar that we thought there might be a better option.  This will be the first long-term review - the long-term review.  So look out for the Galaxy Z Flip4 and N2 Flip.

We'll go over all the usual parts, and focus on the same things we usually do in long-running reviews — it's just that, in this case, there'll be two phones to talk to instead of one, and we'll let you.  Find out how they compare head-to-head in each category, as well as which one wins a particular category in our subjective opinion.

However, there will be no "end result", because this does not mean that one is better than the other - they both have their own strengths and weaknesses, and we want to emphasize what they are, therefore, if you want to buy a device in this form factor, you can make an informed decision.

Switching between the Galaxy Z Flip4 (which we'll refer to as the "Flip4" from now on) and the Find N2 Flip ("N2 Flip" from now on, for the sake of our sanity) and even using them side by side.  Also fun.  Sometimes, just to get a better idea of how they are similar and how they differ.

Quick spoiler: They're already pretty close in some areas, but perhaps surprisingly far apart in some important ways.  We'll get to all of that in the next few pages of this review, so why not join us?
