Nothing Phone 1 to Feature 120Hz Screen and Under-Screen Fingerprint Reader

We're just a few days away from the official launch of Nothing Phone 1 and the phone is almost completely shut down.  We already know what it looks like and now have most of the springs.

The official TikTok channel has now revealed any new details about the upcoming phone.  TikToks suggests that the phone will have a fingerprint sensor under the 120Hz display.  The higher refresh rate option will be called "Smooth Rendering" in Settings.

These TikToks were also quickly shared on Twitter.

TikTok, which has 120Hz refresh rate support, has the phone's ten built-in ringtones and also shows how they interact with the back graphic LED.  The screen can dynamically switch between 120Hz and 60Hz to save battery life.

The British tech company previously confirmed that Nothing Phone 1 will be a mid-range device powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ processor.  The screen will be 6.55 inches with a resolution of 1080 pixels and a punch-hole selfie camera.

Unconfirmed leaks indicate that the main camera will be a 16-megapixel ultra-wide and 50-megapixel sensor.  There will be a 4,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging and wireless charging.

The base version with 8GB/128GB memory is expected to cost around 400. The phone will be officially launched on July 12th.
