US President Joe Biden has hinted at a possible visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to Reuters, President Joe Biden confirmed to reporters that he was considering a visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, this could be a visit in which a meeting between US President and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman is also expected.

The news agency says Biden is planning a tour of Europe, Israel and Saudi Arabia at the end of June.  The White House says Biden still feels MBS does not agree.  He was involved in the 2018 assassination of journalist Jamal Khashkji in Turkey.

Explaining the possibility of a visit to Saudi Arabia, Biden said, "Look, I'm not going to change my mind about human rights, but my job as President of the United States is to make peace and that's what I'm doing.  "I'm going to try."

According to reports, the purpose of the visit is to strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia at a time when Biden is looking for ways to reduce petrol prices in the United States.
