WhatsApp Releases New Privacy Features

WhatsApp releases new privacy features

WhatsApp is one of the most used applications in the world and has become an indispensable means of communication for a large segment of the population.

As it is one of the most used applications in the world, it makes sense that each update is measured in millimeters before it is released to the market.

One of these updates has just been released, and it's about privacy.

The latest WhatsApp update has been in the testing phase for several months, but it has finally arrived.  With this update, we will be able to make our privacy options even more private.

For example, choosing who sees your profile picture, who can see you and who can't see you when you were last online, and who can or can't see your status

This new set of options will alert many users, but others will already be aware of its existence, as the first tests began in September 2021, and since then some users have been presented with options.

The new system was expanded further in March 2022, albeit for a new, smaller group of users.

WhatsApp's new privacy options are now available to all users, as long as they can update their app to the latest version.

There are more updates, according to the WhatsApp account on Twitter.

“We have added some updates to our WhatsApp favourites,” he said.  "When it comes to conference calls, you can now mute others, send messages to specific people, and see banners when someone joins off screen."
