Casualties reported in fresh clashes between Azerbaijani, Armenian troops in Nagorno-Karabakh territory

New conflicts ejected among Azerbaijani and Armenian boundary powers on Tuesday in questioned domain of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Azerbaijan dealt with the region following six-week long clash in 2020 that finished after the two sides consented to a Russia-handled truck

Azerbaijan's Safeguard Service, in a proclamation, affirmed causalities in its powers and harms to military framework while Armenia revealed no harms, however said troops conflicts went on for the time being.

"A few positions, protects and built up marks of the Azerbaijan military ... went under extreme shelling from weapons of different types, including mortars, by units of the Armenian armed force," reports cited Azerbaijan's Protection Service as saying.

"Accordingly, there are misfortunes in staff and harm to military foundation," it added.

Armenia's Safeguard Service said: "Concentrated shooting is proceeding - began because of a huge scope incitement by the Azerbaijani side. Armenia's military have sent off a proportionate reaction."

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had encouraged a prompt finish to threats for which both side are considering mindful one another.
